This policy explains what information SanAntonioPlumbingContractors.com (the “Website”), an independent website run by an individual in San Antonio, Texas (“we”, “us”), at sanantonioplumbingcontractors.com, collects and how we use it. We run an independent online directory. We are not a contractor and do not perform any work.
Information we collect
- Homeowners and visitors: we don’t ask you to create an account or submit a form to use the directory. When you call or email a listed contractor, that contact goes directly to them, not through us.
- Contractors who apply for a listing: business name, contact name, phone, email, website, license number, insurance details, service area, services, social-media links, photos, and anything else you put in the application form.
- Messages you send us by email.
- Usage data: we use Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) to see how the site is used. It sets cookies and collects data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device, and browser. See how Google uses data. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
How we use it
- To review applications, publish and update listings, and contact contractors about their listing and billing.
- To answer messages and requests.
- To run, secure, and improve the site.
Information in a published listing (business name, phone, service area, license number, photos, and badges) is public. Don’t submit anything in an application that you don’t want shown, except the private contact details we use only to reach you.
Sharing
We don’t sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site (hosting, email, analytics, payment processing), when the law requires it, or to protect our rights.
Retention
We keep application and listing information while the listing is active and for a reasonable time afterward for records and billing. We keep messages as long as needed to respond.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your information, or to remove a listing, by emailing txcontractordirectory@gmail.com. We remove listings within 3–5 business days of a verified request.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
